The creation of the first luxury hotel in the Corsican mountains is bound to raise a great many expectations, both among our loyal seaside clientele and among islanders looking for a change of scenery.
To keep moving forward on the Road to excellence, we have chosen to join the prestigious international Relais et Châteaux chain, as we have done for our seaside House, the Grand Hotel de Cala Rossa.
The future of the Domaine Le Mouflon d'Or lies in employing talented people who are highly motivated by this adventure in Corsica. Deciding to settle in the Alta Rocca means having a privileged relationship with nature and valuing the importance of a quality of life that is closely linked - here more than anywhere else - to the rhythm of the seasons. A region with unlimited sporting potential, but also an exceptional natural environment for those simply wishing to give a new meaning to their lives.
If this resonates with you, whether you are single, a couple or a family, then please come and join us.

Our team
Managing Director
Marie FAVRE, who graduated from the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, has been selected to take charge of the Domaine Le Mouflon d'Or.
Passionate about all the various aspects of the trade, including FNB, Housekeeping and Front Office, she chose an international career as a first step towards perfecting her skills and learning all the ins and outs of the hotel industry.
The Mariott Group welcomed her into its luxury establishments in St Barths, New Caledonia and Bora Bora, which she then left to join the prestigious Ritz-Carlton chain in Hawaii.
Her most recent professional experience introduced her to the world of the Relais et Chateaux brand at the Jiva Hill Resort, a magnificent property in the Haut Jura nature park.
Marie, who was born in St Lucie de Porto-Vecchio, is no stranger to insularity, given her professional background and the fact that Corsica had been her childhood and teenage playground.
So, this magnificent challenge of running the first 5* Relais et Chateaux establishment in the Corsican mountains is a return to her roots.
A few months before joining our House, Marie was awarded the coveted title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in the Housekeeping category.
Head Chef
Sébastien CHAUCHAT has been assisting the chef at the Grand Hôtel de Cala Rossa since 2007.
Before joining Pascal Cayeux, he worked at prestigious establishments such as Le Centenaire in Dordogne alongside Roland MAZERE (2 Michelin stars), Le Bateau Ivre in Courchevel alongside Jean Pierre JACOB (2 Michelin stars) as well as in San Diego, California, where he spent two years with Jean Michel DIOT, the best ambassador for Provençal cuisine in the United States.
He fell under the spell of Corsica 17 years ago, and now knows all its gastronomic treasures, and is preparing with great enthusiasm for the opening of the Domaine Le Mouflon d'Or.
Our ambition is to staff this estate with the finest teams, as we have at Cala Rossa and Murtoli, and to write the opening pages of our Story with you.
